Ride Experience
The front suspension is soft and forgiving, but the rear DNM shock feels oddly stiff. Whether it’s the geometry of the linkage or simply tuning, the rear doesn’t soak up bumps like you’d expect. Think of it like riding in a car with big off-road tires but stock shocks—fun to look at, capable enough, but not plush.
The riding position is slightly hunched forward, but comfortable for medium-sized riders. At 5’9”, I could flat-foot the bike with room to spare, making it accessible to many riders who usually feel dwarfed by 26×4 fat-tire bikes.
Throttle response is quick, gearing is spot-on for pedaling at higher speeds, and the bike comfortably cruises at 28 mph when unlocked. On hills, it impressed me more than I expected—climbing nearly all the way up on throttle alone.

Verdict
The REVR TA9 is like a flashy sports car—it’s not the smoothest ride in the world, but you buy it because it looks incredible and still performs when you push it. At $1,599, it’s not cheap, but you’re getting good components, solid performance, and a bike that will definitely turn heads.
