Amped Cycle Reviews
Short on Seat Height, Not On Fun.
The Cyrusher Lynx is one of those mini e-motos that looks familiar at first, but the more time I spent on it, the more it started to make sense. On paper, it lands right in the same category as bikes like the Tuttio Soleil01 and Yozma-style mini pit bikes: 48V battery, 3000W motor, compact frame, small wheels, and a price around $1,199.
First Impressions
The Cyrusher Lynx feels like a compact electric pit bike designed to be a little easier to live with than some of the competition. It has a lower standover height, a manageable frame size, and the reverse function makes it less annoying to move around.
Cyrusher lists the standover at about 27.5 inches, which is lower than many similar mini e-motos. That makes this bike more approachable for shorter riders, younger riders, or anyone who doesn’t want to deal with a taller full-size electric dirt bike.
At the same time, this is still not a featherweight. At over 120 pounds, the Lynx is absolutely still a heavy machine. It’s just less intimidating than some of the bigger e-motos out there.

Ride Quality and Off-Road Feel
Off-road is where the Lynx feels at home. The small frame, short wheelbase, and mid-drive motor make it feel playful and easy to throw around. It rips through grass and rough trails without feeling like it’s working too hard.
The suspension was better than expected too. The rear shock looked a little questionable at first, but once the ride started, it handled bumps and roots surprisingly well. This bike gives a lot of confidence on rough terrain, and that’s probably the biggest compliment for something in this class.
The Lynx handled the hill test well too. From a stop, it climbed a steep off-road hill that a lot of e-bikes would struggle with. That mid-drive setup definitely helps here. It’s not some monster torque machine, but it has enough grunt to be genuinely useful off-road.

Reverse Gear
The reverse function is easily one of the best parts of the Lynx.
Press the reverse button, twist the throttle, and the bike backs up. Simple. Useful. Done.
That feature makes a lot of sense on any electric dirt bike, especially one that weighs over 120 pounds. Getting stuck on a hill, backing out of tight trails, turning around in a cramped garage — reverse just makes everything easier.
There’s also a safety feature that prevents reverse from engaging while riding forward. That’s good, because accidentally launching backward at 20 mph would be a new and terrible way to ruin a day.
After using reverse on the Lynx, it feels like one of those features that should be standard on every e-moto.

Brakes, Lights, and Controls
The Lynx comes with DOT hydraulic brakes, and stopping power felt strong. The brakes were confidence-inspiring and fit the bike’s speed and weight well.
The full twist throttle also felt good. It had that proper mini dirt bike feel and made the bike easy to control off-road.
The built-in headlight is another nice touch. Some competing mini e-motos skip lighting completely, so having a bright front light makes the Lynx more useful right out of the box. Unfortunately, there’s no tail light, which feels like a missed opportunity.
The display is basic but accurate, and that matters. The speedometer matched up well, so the numbers felt trustworthy instead of inflated.
Accessibility and Fit
The Lynx is clearly designed around accessibility. The lower seat height, smaller wheel setup, lighter feel compared to bigger e-motos, and reverse gear all make it easier to handle.
That makes it a strong option for:
- younger riders
- shorter riders
- smaller adults
- anyone looking for a compact beginner-friendly e-moto
- riders who want something easier to manage than a full-size electric dirt bike
Adults can ride it, and it was still fun at my size, but the frame does feel compact. For a daily e-moto, I’d personally want something with bigger wheels and a bigger frame. But for a smaller pit-bike-style machine, the Lynx feels well thought out.

Battery Life
After around 12 miles of riding, the bike was sitting around half battery. That included a lot of 30 mph riding, hill testing, and general messing around, so the battery life seemed decent for the class.
A realistic range estimate would probably be somewhere around 20–25 miles with aggressive riding, and more with slower, easier cruising.
Cyrusher’s claimed 43.5 miles may be possible in very gentle riding, but that’s not how this kind of bike tends to get used.
The Downsides
The biggest challenge for the Lynx is timing. A year or two ago, a 48V 3000W mini e-moto at this price would have felt like an easy win. Now, there are 60V bikes showing up around similar money, and those will usually offer more power, more speed, and stronger top-end performance.
That doesn’t make the Lynx bad. It just means the value conversation is more complicated.
There were also a few small rattles and creaks from the back of the bike over bumps. Nothing alarming, but noticeable. The lack of a tail light is also disappointing, especially with how useful the headlight is.
Amped Pros
What We Liked
- Reverse gear is genuinely useful
- Lower standover height makes the bike more approachable
- Quick 0–20 mph acceleration
- Strong hydraulic brakes
- Good off-road confidence
- Accurate speedometer
- Bright built-in headlight
- Comfortable enough for a compact pit bike
Amped Cons
What Could Be Better
- 48V system faces competition from newer 60V bikes similar price
- No tail light
- Still heavy at over 120 lbs
- Compact size may feel small for larger adults
- Some minor creaks/rattles over bumps
- Claimed range is optimistic
Final Verdict
The Cyrusher Lynx is a really solid little mini e-moto, especially for riders who want something compact, accessible, and easier to manage than a full-size electric dirt bike.
The reverse gear is the feature that makes it memorable. It sounds small on paper, but it makes the bike much easier to live with. Add in the lower standover height, strong brakes, bright headlight, and fun mid-drive power, and the Lynx ends up feeling like a smart, beginner-friendly package.
The only real issue is the market around it. With more affordable 60V mini e-motos showing up, the Lynx no longer feels like the outright performance bargain. But as a compact, approachable, well-equipped pit-bike-style e-moto, it still makes a lot of sense.
It’s not the fastest option. It might be one of the easier ones to actually live with.
